Wait…What Are You?

I am an online health and fitness coach working under the Beachbody franchise. Simply put, I help people live their healthiest lives through daily motivation, guidance, and support. I am not a personal trainer or nutritionist; I have no degree or training in either. I am simply someone who’s had great results using Beachbody and am taking my experience and expertise in Beachbody to help people.

Eventually I plan to expand into other areas of coaching but, for now, I’m focusing on coaching with Beachbody because I know it really works!

What is Beachbody?

If the brand name doesn’t ring a bell immediately, it will in a minute. Beachbody is the premier health and fitness company that has been around for several years now. They are responsible for the production of some of the most successful workout programs out there such as Insanity and P90x. They offer many great programs that are designed for different goals, fitness levels, and lifestyles. There is truly a program for everyone!

Say You’re My Coach – What Do We Do?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get and it can be confusing at first! I’ll break it down:

1. We have a free consultation together – over the phone, through email/facebook, or in person.

In our consultation, we will first get to know each other a little better to make sure that you’re comfortable with me and want me as your coach – there is no pressure to commit with the consultation! We’ll also talk about your goals, your past experiences, your lifestyle, and where you struggle the most in health and fitness! I use these consultations to get a holistic view of who you are as a person and what you’re really looking for from a health and fitness plan.

2. I help you get started, based on what we discussed in your consultation, on your first challenge. 

I take everything that I learned about you from our consultation and make some personal recommendations on the type of programs I think would work best for you. We discuss the pros and cons of each, my experiences with the programs, and what you can realistically expect to see at the end of each program

3. Throughout your challenge, I’ll be there to give daily support, motivation, and guidance to help you push through the tough times and to make sure you stay on track to achieve your goals! I keep you accountable.

Once we select the program that is the best fit for you, I put you into an online challenge group with participants who are doing the same/a similar program as you. This way, you’ll be able to support each other through the struggles, commiserate together (lol if needed), and celebrate accomplishments together. I will be running the challenge group and will be there every step of the way, every day! I’ll offer motivational activities, tips for success, and general support.

4. Once a week (or more often if you need it!), we’ll have a one-on-one call to assess your progress and, once again, make sure you’re on the right track!

We’ll choose a day of the week that works best for you – people typically choose the weekends or a Monday or Friday – as well as a time. Every week we will discuss how the week prior went: how are you feeling? what are you eating? are you noticing anything different in your body, your mood, energy, etc? I help make sure you’re staying on track with your program and encourage you to stay on or get back on it if you’re struggling. If you are struggling, we’ll talk until we figure out a new way to approach your program so that you can succeed. These check-ins are for you. We’ll have a check-in every week until your program is complete and then reassess to see if you should do another round, try another program, etc. I’ll help you move on to the next step of your fitness journey :)

  • Because I will be there for you through every step of your fitness journey to offer support and guidance.
  • Because I will keep you accountable – I won’t let you give up!
  • Because I will work with you until you achieve your goals, you don’t have to do it alone!

Having a coach allows you to accomplish more than you could alone. You’ll have the support of myself and others going through the same process to lean on for support and tips!
